Alejandro started his career in financial services within the Private Client Services division of Lehman Brothers.

He went on to serve as Managing Director at DEPFA Bank and Vice President for KNN-Zions First National Bank, before establishing IPFC Group, which provided consulting services for development agencies, governments, and supranational entities, including the US Agency for International Development (USAID), European Union Water Commission, and the German Development Bank-GTZ. The work included assessing over 15 financing projects and 50 financial institutions, in over 20 countries.

He subsequently served as Vice President of Public Finance with SNW Securities in California, where he led the firm’s investment banking in California and Mexico.

Today, Mr. Caminos is a Financial Services Professional at New York Life, where he assists clients with personal finance and risk management.

Giving back is a top priority. He serves on HSF’s San Francisco Advisory Council, is the Vice President and Chairman of the External Relations Committee of Latinos in Finance, and a Partner at the Risk and Value Creation Institute. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Escuela Bilingüe Internacional, an independent co-educational day school in San Francisco’s East Bay area.

His advice to others, including those who may be considering a higher education or career in financial services is simple: "Anything is possible. Never give up. In the face of adversity, keep going."
